Why the Perfect Spiritual Guide is important in this era?
In this era of materialism the people are more inclined towards the material world and less towards their soul. Their soul is dead while their innerself is so impure that it stops them from the purification of their soul. Therefore they are neglectful of the true meaning of the Quran and Sunnah. Also they are ignorant towards the teachings of our Sufi Saints who show the right path for us. Hence they have been deprived of their own self.

Who is the Perfect Spiritual Guide.
The Perfect Spiritual Guide is the one who enlightens our soul and purifies our innerself by his spiritual sight. He tells us the true meaning and purpose of man’s existence. Moreover he guides us to attain closeness to Allah. In fact he is the only medium to attain closeness to Allah. Without him no one has ever reached at this level. Even Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani who was born a saint and was the leader of all the saints took oath of allegiance to the Perfect Spiritual Guide Abu Saeed Mubarak Makhzumi.
Sultan ul Ashiqeen says:
- No one has ever attained Sainthood, gnosis and vision of Allah without first taking oath of allegiance to a perfect spiritual guide. Then gaining esoteric training and knowledge under his guidance. Al-Ghazali attained the exalted status after he left teaching and adopted company of Yousaf Nisaj. Similarly Rumi only became famous after he pledged oath of allegiance to his spiritual guide Shams of Tabriz and spent time in his company. In short, in the path of Faqr no one has ever reached Allah without the company and guidance of an accomplished spiritual guide.
